Bhunte saw a dream. Weird of its kind. He saw that he was a 70-year-old tusker. And there, he gathered Punte and Dalle to share a story. He explained how poaching and over-exploitation may lead to ‘tuskless’ males in the future. He also shared that when he was a calf, there were many tusked uncles. And many males in coming generations might be devoid of their proud possession- the tusks. Punte and Dalle got scared. Meantime, something heavy fell on Bhunte’s body. It was his mother’s trunk.

“Get up, Bhunte, we are marching to another part of the forest, hurry up”.
