Bhunte was running as fast as he could! He had stolen a flower from the bees and they were buzzing behind him. He knew it was going to be fun, so he hurried through the bushes and crossed the creeks. When he looked at his reflection in the stream, he realized he was running just as quickly as his reflection! The colony of bees continued to follow him. Suddenly, he tripped and fell into the water. His mom saw him and the hovering bees and quickly pulled him towards her. She said, “Don’t bother the bees, they are a group of hard-working social insects. Respect them, because without these bees, you wouldn’t have this lush green home to play in! Sadly, humans use chemicals to control other insects, and this has killed most of these wonderful creatures. If they disappear from this earth, Bhunte, we will have no home left. Remember that!” Upon hearing this, Bhunte immediately dropped the flower.
