Why most of us love Ganesha (elephant-headed God): because of his cuteness and some mischievousness. Bhunte and his friends are no less than Ganesha. Tinku is a very close friend of Bhunte and stays in the DB kuppe camp of Karnataka. He loves chasing mynas, following mahouts, splashing mud, sitting over his sister and stepping on the mother’s chain (these chains are used to track the semicaptive elephants which are let free in the forest). He started irritating his mother who was heading back to forests after morning meals and medicines in the camp. Tinku kept on stepping on mother’s chain. At one point of time, she got irritated and kicked him right on his head. Tinku learnt his lesson and started walking next to his mother. He certainly must have felt ashamed in front of his friends, who knows…
