Bhunte and his herd have been running away from the forest fire that engulfed their home. Many of his tiny friends were trapped, some of them got suffocated to death and some of them got burnt. Bhunte is really scared of the fire. This time he did not leave his herd and followed them wherever they took refuge. On his way, he came across a baby mouse deer- Musi. Her tiny legs were trembling, she had some bruises and was extremely scared of heat and fire. She lost the track of her mother. And stood helpless. Bhunte requested her to follow his herd to reach the safe place. “Musi, follow me and my family, we are travelling out of this burning monster”. While escaping the fire, Musi met her mother who was frantically searching for her. Bhunte was relieved. What ached Bhunte most was- his other friends who went missing during this deadly fire. He prayed for their safety and march ahead with his herd…
